OpenHRE to Release Key Components of the Common Framework

Washinton DC, April 6, 2006 - The Markle Foundation announced today the availability of key components of their Connecting for Health Common Framework. The Health Records Exchange components developed by Browsersoft Inc. for the Mendocino HRE will be made available as part of this effort.

A web service that demonstrates the exchange of health records is already availalble at http://labserver.browsersoft.com/NHIN/services/NHINQueryService. Other components, including the open source code for this web service, and a multi-exchange test client web application, will be made available here at OpenHRE™.org on Monday, April 10, coinciding with a demonstration of this new test client at the eHI Connecting Communities Learning Forum in Washington, DC.
